i saw a fish, in a fish talk, in a chinese restaurant today. it’s not the first time. i’ve been to more chinese restaurants than there are stars in the sky. most of them have have tanks full of fish, waiting to be devoured. but this one was alone. it was lonely. probably oblivious to its impending doom. such, the life of a small brained fish.

i was so overwhelmed, by the loneliness, the depressing end that’s to come. i felt bad. for the fish. so i cried. during my meal at this chinese restaurant, i cried. tears.

we’re all fish stuck in fish tanks. our end is coming. when we try to escape from our tanks, it’s just lies to hide our loneliness. like a fish that thinks he’s found a friend only to learn it’s his reflection, we think we’re connecting when we’re just trying to find something in ourselves to love.
